This is just a minor FAQ that I've created so that the same questions won't be asked. Pretty basic stuff in here, but remember that if you have a major question Not in here, create a topic and ask Jeff. Hopefully he'll answer them all!
**Also, Jeff: If there's anything that I have wrong in here, or any of the basics that I've missed, feel free to edit this thread**
Who is Jemo?
On the stage, Jemo is Jeff Dantowitz (acoustic guitar/vocals), James Bastable (bass) and Michael Beaucierc (drums). In the studio, Jemo is simply Jeff's thoughts and ideas mixed with the raw sounding of an acoustic, drums, bass, and his vocals.
What is Jemo?
Quite simply, Jemo is emotion. The music is a mesmerizing blend of aggressive sounds found on the acoustic and the intensity of the poetry found in the lyrics.
What influences Jemo?
There are many bands that have influenced Jemo, including Ben Harper (no, not the Yellowcard guitarist,) Radiohead, and Nirvana. Jemo has been compared to many of these bands, and the comparision can be clearly heard in many of the songs.
Where can I hear Jemo material?
Although I'd prefer to support the band, there are websites, including Myspace and Purevolume, that allow you to listen and download the band's songs. Not all of the songs can be found however. To get those, you have to buy the CDs!

When was the first Jemo CD released, and are they signed to a label?
The first album was released in 2001, and can still be found on the 'Net (I've found one on EBay!) Currently, Jemo is in the studio preparing to release a new album in 2006. Check back to here and/or the website for details. Jemo was signed this past year, 2005, to Label Records, which also features Strap-On Tools and Lustra.
